Pretty damning, nvidia seems to not care at all and did not bother to do a proper foolproof fix of the issue as per him (Buildzoid). Could have been done with cheap components too.

I definitely don't want to deal with these connectors even if risk is low ( but much higher than normal). Dont want to be looking at gpu all the time through case worrying about a fire.

On top of the thus far poor reported AI workload performance, that seals the deal for sticking to 3090/4090 for now.
