Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Announced

nokia has home media server software which u can install on pc and it lets u control and transfer music on pc through phone and vice versa over wifi , it also has sync feature , great software , i control pc's music while anywhere in house over wifi with my N95 8GB and can play phone's music on pc too :D
 
Had gone to a Nokia press con today....

THey said, Nokia 5800 would be made available in India only around first week in December... price point not yet decided for India :P

i really think that the device might not be ready yet and hence the delay. i guess its better instead of releasing a half finished product. and since this is one of the first touch screen phones from nokia, they would make doubly sure that their product is perfect for launch.
 
It was also smart on their part to announce it before the Diwali and the other holidays. Those wanting to buy a device are already getting tempted, and might want to wait for the device instead of buying the old stuff available right now.
 
wow thts some serious interest the 5800 XM has generated!!!!!!:crazeyes: , hadnt seen this much speculation in a mobile since the iphone 3G!!!!!way to go nokia......(guess u should have waited for this one than going overborad for the N96!!!!!!:rofl: :bleh: )
 
Very very very good phone that is.. But Touchscreen is not for me.. So no chance to get this phone.. [I am worst Touchscreen phone user..]
 
Looks Good!

They can easily shave of a few thousand rupees by not including an 8Gb microSD card.They internal memory is pretty good.
 
81MB for a Dedicated Music Phone ? Hmm , dont think it would be enough. I say teh included 8GB package is a good thing , as most of the phones (See iPhone , W960i etc) already carry this memory.
 
My Nokia Dealer says 25+ would be the price.

Erm, why you take all dealers for granted.

Mine one sell good amount of phones a day and mostly to elite people. By the way he knew everything from before and told its comin soon.

Dont talk like a kid mate.
 
why is every1 saying this to be Nokia's first touch screen phone???? Has every1 forgotten Nokia 7710. I used to own that brick....:)
