Hello friends,
Can anyone tell me wat all can b done by a nokia 6230 phone via its bluetooth?? i mean its not a symbian phone so i cant use all those softwares for bluetooth... i heard there r many softwares by which v can use our phone as a tv remote n all... if there r can u guys plz giv me the links n how to go about it?

1st tv is not BT enabled. May be with IR but i dont know anything about it.
BT is for connecting it to pc, for downloading stuff and using phone as modem
 
yea i know dat.. but there r many *.sis applications for symbian based phones by which u can do many other things wid ur bluetooth other dan jus transfering files :P
 
U can use IR port to use mobile as remote for all IR based appliances like TV,DVD player etc. There is a sis file for it. search on mobango.com
 
yea i know i even hav dat sis software wid me.. but the prob is my phone is nokia 6230 and it doenst support sis files.. :( it only supports jar files :((
 
Thers a software for contfrolling ur pc remotely and bla bla with the use of ur bluetooth.
u can change songs shut down etc etc will send u tht ;).
 
I have a 6230... so first of all there is no software for controlling TV etc from It using BT or IR, as for changing songs in winamp, there is a software for tht using the BT, but again i dont think its for non symbian phones...
