As the title says which phone should I go for:
Nokia 6233 or E50 or N72
Budget: sub 13k
What about the hanging problem in E50, is it a major deterrent from buying it.
Also what is the latest price of N72?

I posted a thread with the "SAME" topic a few weeks back.....
finally i got my N72 for 11.6 abt 10 days back.....BANG ON...need not say more....go in for it !

what about the difference between the two, 6233 has 3G, whereas N72 does not have 3G. Also i wont be changing the phone in next 1-2 years, so tell me your choices in that context also. Also which of the two has a better screen. Also does the 6mb internal memory of 6233 hamper its performance in any way. So is the price difference of 1.5k b/w the two justified

@hanzy: is the 11.6k price of N72 from delhi, if yes then what shop

I would recommened you to buy nokia N72 instead of 6233 because it has series 60 3rd edition platform so you can install third party applicaions.

sound quality is better in 6233 but you can't install any third party software.
phonebook memory in 6233 is 500 where in N72 you can add contacts upto 1000 i guess.

Lovebhai.

Don't give me shocks yaar, I got my Nokia N72 for Rs. 15,000/- three months back, I never expected that it's price would fall so drastically.

nah the phone is for my dad , so no funky walkman for him. more relies ppl!!!
I think your dad use it for Business/Office purpose so better go with 6233, good sound, better display resolution, light weight compare to N72.

Symbian phone for him is useless.

but does the series 40 OS on 6233 has support for so many apps... i may get the phone from him later on , so keep that in mind... also which of the 2 phones is more future proof

i wd prefer a n72.... however i f ur dad is goin to use it i dont think he ll need all the symbian appls... so a 6233 wd be fine...

as i had said earlier, this phone may be passed on to me so keep that in mind as well, and i am a power feature user. plus is the 3G important keeping in mind that the phone is going to be used for the coming 1-2 years

After 2 years if your dad ready to give you this phone with 2 yrs prepaid subscription still you will told him "NOT INTERESTED" and move to choose new one.:)

Technology changing fast - 2 yr old model look like 2 decades old.:bleh:
