Nokia C5 vs Samsung Galaxy 5

I am looking at a phone under the 10K mark with GPS.

After evaluating the choices, I am left with virtually two options. The Andriod powered Galaxy 5 and the Nokia C5.

In favor of the C5:
* Hardware keys
* Cheaper

In favor of the Galaxy 5
* ANDROID [Huge +]
* Wifi
Stuff about the Galaxy I don't like:
* More expensive
* Poor display

So someone with experience with both phones, please help me make a buying decision.

C5's display is too sharp and the C5 taht I got for my fiance' is hanging a lot and was given in service center. I have noticed the same issue reported a lot in forums. So, I wouldn't really suggest this phone. Galaxy 5 is okaishy phone.

why not get 5230 or 5235 instead?

Not to keen on getting a resistive touchscreen.

Had bought a C5 yesterday for my mum. No issues so far. Will stress it today and will let you know if it causes any problems.

7600. Bought it from Delhi, not in Mumbai ATM.

I think 5230 and galaxy 5 cost the same. Even they have gps.

Bought C5 (white) for my mom 24th Sep (Friday) priced 7.7k from Nokia Priority,

Now in testing.....

GPS was very fast getting Satellite Lock and awesome battery Life, Still no hanging issue.

Yet to test Video Call Feature.

There are a software update available though.

GPS lock time is very variable for me. Sometimes fast enough,sometimes quite slow.

Thank you all for the info, i think c5 is better package because of 3.15MP camera.
