Nokia e71 average charging time query - plz !!!

hello TEs, may i know the average charging time for the nokia e71 ?. Mine charges for about 3.5 - 4hrs. Is this the average charging time ?

Some say that the average charging time is only 1 - 1.50 hrs. Today i purchased a new battery from nokia care.

The guy in nokia care suggested me that a new phone / battery has to be charged for 8 hours for the 1st time. :S And he says thereafter a 1.50 hr charge brings all the 7 power bars. Is this true ? . Cuz the manual doesnt say anything like that and simply states that the handset to be charged till the power bars are full. :huh:

Plz tell me guys. Just now i contacted nokia care (08030303838). They told me that 8 hrs charging is not necessary and the average charge time is 1.5 hrs.
I am very confused now. I doubt the issue is with the handset and if its that case , then i have wasted 2300 Rs. :(

The handset is purchased in UAE.

Plz advice me guys. This drives me crazy.... :( :huh: :@
 
so wat if it charges in 3-4 hrs or in 1.5 hrs, its working fine na..

anyways i bought it 15 days back and charging time from completeley down to full takes around 1.5-2hrs

and lasts for 4.5-5 days with an average usage!!
 
can u mention the charger model it came with ?

also mention the capacity of the charger ... shud be summin like 350mAh 5.0v
 
@ MohitPreet , your charger is pretty decent and your charging times are inline of the same.

The question however was put to the OP to better understand his issue.
 
well it is approximately 2.5 hrs with the nokia charger supplied with the fone.and always charge it completely to give ur battery long life.avoid charging partially.
