Nokia's entry level Lumia handsets - Lumia 520 and Lumia 620 are doing well in Indian market and now Nokia has come up with exchange offer to further boost the sales of the smartphones. The Lumia 520 and Lumia 620 can be bought for Rs 4000 and Rs 6000 discount under exchange.

The Lumia 520 which is officially priced at Rs 11,289 can be bought in the "Smart Buy Back Offer" at Rs 7,289 by exchanging eligible smartphone. The list below mentions the eligible smartphones in the offer.

Similarly, the Lumia 620 which is officially priced at Rs 15,999 can be had for Rs 9,999 under the exchange scheme.

However, low end budget smartphones are not in the list of eligible devices, and the exchange benefits are close to the actual resale value of the used smartphones.

The offer will be available offline and online both. Homeshop18 has already listed the Lumia 520 in exchange offer, but offering Rs 3000 discount in exchange for Lumia 520 and Rs 4000 discount on Lumia 620.

I will not trade my N8 with any of these....wish they provide option for Galaxy Y - 5360 for Lumia 620.

not worth it, IMO better to sell the phone separately, use a few ebay coupons! available for 8400 on ebay after 7% off, right now ( lumia 520)

Not necessarily, it depends upon which phone you have.
For example, i could never have sold my E71 for more than 1.5k and considering that i got a blue lumia 620 for 10k ( 13.5 - 14k for the blue version everywhere), i'd say it was a pretty damn good deal

How did u exchange E71 for 620 ? its not listed on the eligible phones list..

No idea, I just went to a nearby mobile store (a decent one, not some crappy one). There was a nokia rep among the salespersons and i asked if i could get my E71 exchanged for a the 620 and he told me ut was possible. He checked if my phone was working, reset it, checked the battery & if it was charging and that was it.

Edit : I did go to another store before this one and that guy told me he could give mt the 620 for not less than 12k, so i guess it wont work in every shop

did you try selling your e71? unless, its in a shitty state ( no offence) , it should easily fetch 2.5k

also, fk selling the 520 for 8800 , so you were better off with the difference in the 620 i agree....

Gave it to my mom so i cant say for myself, but she said everything was fine. She moved from on old Nokia 6700 to this, so everything is better (If only she can figure stuff out, that is. Whatever you may say about it but Symbian was/is the most user intuitive OS i've ever seen)
