Nokia N series?

how come my N70 has just 21 mb of internal memory??

21 MB is available for usage...rest all is read only memory (ROM)

hmm just checked official Nokia site:

N70: 22 MB of dynmic memory

N72: 20 MB of dynamic memory

Not much difference I must say.................

morever I don't think ROM is included in "internal mem" specifications....

yup! I got it wrong there! Usable memory in N72 is 20 MB as compared to 22 MB of N70.

N72 = N70 - 3G (Well almost)

For mme N70 also has the better keypad which is more soft and raised compared to N72 which is hard and lacks depth,even though both are equally cramped!

morever N70 offers u more sensible colour choices like silver, black,ivory/auberg) compard to black , pink fr N72

N72: NO idea.

: OS, 9.1 in N73. 8.1 in N72/70

: Screen qvga in N73 vs 176*209 in N72

: RAm 20 MB in N73 vs 30 MB in N72

: mini SD in N73 vs rs-mmc in N72

: stereo speakers vs mono
that is what I think of as major differences,, there my be some more...

yesterday saw n70.. absolutely cool and clear video quality it seems. havent seen the video in PC but on phone the clarity is amazing... hmm... :ashamed:

Only problem with the NSeries are that they have very less talk time like 2-3hrs only.

Dude that's not an N70 only problem.... Sez who?? I have a 6630 as well as an N70, and the 6630 has an even shorter battery life. Your processor speed also determines this...other factors as well hyeah:

Me thinks BD needs to look at more phones

If the N73 is within your budget, then go for it, otherwise N70 is the best sub 17K smartphone IMHO!!

Has everything but a Wi-Fi!!

I like the nokia interface. Don't like the SE. Motorolla phones are worthless. I've seen the SE phones. A friend is working in TMO (subscriber) and I found the SE phones good. I don't like the recent nokia handsets. N series is okay too but not that excellent.

N series is the best thing Nokia have done ....

Initially they were getting pwnd by SE(the K750i, the W series and so on).....but with the N series, in the higher mid-range, Nokia are back with a bang ....

The 6233 is also an amazing phone.... the 6681, 6630 are all amazing phones...

The only reason I see to go for a SE is because of the camera.... that is one thing which is not upto the mark in NOkia phones.....their cameras are not match for the SE cameras....but the ones on the N70/72/73 are supposed to be very good in all situations except in macro mode....

Macro mode is something Nokias suck in

^^ Good post Nikhil. N series is little expensive. But so far, N series are the only good phones in Nokia.
