Nokia N8 - Suffering from Signal issues ?

black beauty mate. But texting is not simple as a physical keyboard. The phone is amazing. plz suggest the best software to play mp3, mkv files. Can i use the apps which i used in my nokia e71 ?..

Is it worth updating the FW ?.

The phone is slippery so i need a good belt pouch (landscape type). I will also buy a silicon protector so the pouch should hold the entire thickness.. Plz suggest....
 
mp3 plays fine with the stock player.

mkv is a hit or miss thing.

Some plays fine,some without audio,some with audio only.

Xvid/divx plays ok though.

I hope you've removed the plastic covering over the camera. Definitely update the firmware.

To zoom video , just pinch zoom like photos on the video and it will expand to fill the entire screen.
 
^ Yes i did remove the plastic covering over the camera immediately i bought the phone. But dont know why it was yellowish. Today it is fine. But the 720p HD recording is not upto the mark. Can any of you suggest the best settings for good results ?

Now one important thing - I charged the phone for 8 hours before using it. I started using the phone from today 5.30am. Did all transferring data, HDMI check, OTG check, data transfer via wire and BT, playing music, video and some GPS and battery reached one bar at 4.30pm. Is this the normal discharge time of the battery ?. And to reach full charge level from one bar it takes 2 hours. Is this normal ?

I also need a landscape pouch mate which is big enough to hold the phone with its silicon protector . Plz suggest where to get it in Richie street...
