i own Nokia 6233.
Recently my battery is bulged.Where in Chennai i can get the original battery. Its BP-6M

a phone at my place has also got the same problem. the battery is bulged outwards an takes no charge? think nokia wil replace it even if its out of warranty with a scare of the bursting reference?

Seems like these are from nokia care or somehting or perhaps brought open cause of taxes or somethign..

^ dude nokia batteries are never sold open no matter what.... you can go to nokia care n get it checked their....

What about the scratch off hologram? they can also be faked?

lol i have 2 batteries bulged its due to overchargin cell daily i take charger to office :bleh:battery back up is 1 hr got 2 battery was searching on ebay need coupon code now

Got a packed Nokia battery for Rs 550 with 6 months warranty. But looks fake now that I am using it. Charge remains only for a single day (9 hrs) with nil to minimal talk time.

Trust me guys ... dont go for fakes. These so called cheap batteries will work well for a month or two ..and then you will see the real reason why you get them at half or even one fourth the price of their original counterparts. Stick to the original batteries... with the hologram on them. Preferably , but the batteries from a nokia priority dealer , so u can be assured that you are getting original stuff. Some of them even have a black strip on the sticker , and after scratching it you get a number. you can sms this number to 5555 and check if the battery is genuine.
