We already know that Nokia is getting ready to launch dual SIM phones later this year. Well, some (if not all) of Nokia’s dual SIM handsets will be based on the S40 platform and not on Symbian.

According to a leaked document posted at Cellularmania.net, the Finnish company also plans to “bring touch†to S40 and offer a “compelling touch experience at a highly affordable price.†Furthermore, it looks like we’ll see QWERTY S40 phones, too.

Nokia also promises to improve S40’s internet capabilities, although there are no clear details about this.

At the moment, S40 is the world’s most used mobile platform – hundreds of millions of Nokia phones are using it. With a diversified S40 portfolio, a new Symbian UI (Symbian^3, Symbian^4 etc) and attractive services (DRM-free music, free Ovi Maps Navigation), Nokia will most probably remain the world’s no. 1 phone maker for many years to come.

Perhaps at last we will get reliable Dual Sim Phones from Nokia- At present getting really reliable Dual Sim Phones has been a problem-as this sector is mostly dominated by Chinese Crap.
