HOW'S THIS :bleh: :bleh: :bleh:

my cousin had returned his IPHONE within a week after buying it.

conclusion- dont get IPHONE :P :hap2:

this is story abt iphone 4rm my side

poll karwa lo yaar... kya bacho ke jaise +10/-20 chilla rahe ho ...

Only if the video recording and allowing the user to choose his own service provider was available .. iphone wd hv been the winner from my side..

Bring me a Apple iPhone which works on Airtel/Vodaphone networks in India without any hacks and without loosing warranty under 20k and I would agree that iPhone is worth the money spent and can compete with Nokia's and Sony's. Otherwise theres no point.

^^ Excatly my point
SC's review and a couple of other of opinions from people who have used it have changed my thoughts about the iphone. The first thing that everybody notices is that its very responsive and quick . The UI is good, very fluid .
The screen is something i have been drooling over since day 1 . 3.5" @ 480 X 320 is impeccable . The colors look very vivid and real
There is definitely a drawback when coming to 3rd party applications , but i think developers are working a way around to this. I have already seen a dictionary available in different languages for the iphone at hackint0sh. Hope to see more useful applications around
All of these would make sense if they introduce it officially in India. If they could price the 8 gb variant at 20k it would definitely make a good competitor to nokia's and se's and htc's

Oh and if they make use that 8gb as a mass storage device that would be awesome :D

my dad's got an n95 and asked me if i wanted it. i turned it down since it's really nothing special in my opinion. sure everyone talks about the 5mp camera but higher resolution alone isn't any good. at the end of the day, phone cameras are extremely noisy unless you're outside in broad daylight. no point in having a 5mp image full of noise.

handling wise, it felt just like any other generic nokia... rather boring. i'm sticking with my k790i for now.

also, the iphone and n95 comparisons are really like apples (no, not intended) and oranges. one is marketed as a feature rich phone for people who need all that stuff. the iphone is simply a device that can make calls, play your music and browse the net. its USP is the touchscreen interface that's supposedly extremely easy to use - aimed at the common man rather than the guy who goes out looking for a smartphone to buy.

finally, lets wait until the iphone is officially released in India and has a rupee pricing to its name, shall we? as far as we're concerned, the phone doesn't even exist as of yet. i have a strong feeling that the price will drop by a significant amount as with all new iPods after a few months. maybe apple just wanted to make some quick money selling the phone at its current price to americans :P (who DO tend to buy hyped up things no matter what they cost, like the ps3). the rest of the world wouldn't be a good market for them at this price.

iphone wasnt even released 4 months back. :bleh:

lol. but i never said anything about the iphone. was just saying that n95 isnt really worth it.

If it were me, ill stick with N95.

The reason n95's interface seems boring is that its the (almost) same interface for the past 7 years. That is there for a reason. If you use 1 Symbian device, its the same across the board (with minor differences).

Thats the same case as windows. Its basically the same interface since windows 95 till now.

The N95 Vs. Iphone debate is very much similar to the Mac Vs. Windows one.

In the end if you want extensibility , get a n95 (windows). If you prefer form over function, get an iphone (mac).

excatly , when you have UIs with touch interfaces that leaves N95 with more to be desired for the amount you are spending. More over i would a phone with a large screen

The have made it more pleasing with every new release and added new functionality

i was just majing an analogy there....BTW evrybody knows windows rocks on the fucntionality front ;) so there is no possibility of an arguement!

there are some drawbacks of iphone ....
no fm radio :bleh:
no video recording:bleh:
no flash:bleh:
no addon applications :bleh:
no java support :bleh:
messaging not easy(infact most touchscreen phones have this problem)
non removable battery... spares said to be very costly
no a2dp support for bluetooth headphones... infact many mid-range give importance to this :hap2:
