My friend bought this Lenovo laptop offline 3 days ago

I bought the 14" variant of the same laptop from Lenovo website for my cousin who is a designer, customized it with 32GB RAM & 3 year ADP, cost about 73k after card offers (or 68k is SBI cashback got double cashback, yet to check statement).

Generally for work use people prefer 14 inch or less due to portability. Are you sure about 15 inch size

His usecase is only work stuff, documents and PowerPoint. He says battery holds up his entire work day and plugs in the battery the next day after arriving for work. It is vague information but I would say around 11 hrs of office use

Dell is overpriced & their build quality nowadays is also not as good not to mention they charge around 7k for 2 years extended warranty incl ADP which is a must have for any brand laptop nowadays unless you only want to rely on your luck after 1 year of purchasing the laptop. Also, you won't get rj45 port in most non-gaming/light weight laptops nowadays.

Typically yes. There is also additional risk of service centre rejecting warranty claim citing "physical/user induced damage" not covered under standard warranty.
