Noob Need Upgrade from EP-630 to Audio Heaven

Budget is 5K, willing to shell out some moolah on an amp if need be.

What a coincidence!! I too have been looking to upgrade my EP-630(am in Bangalore, and I think I bought it two years ago :ohyeah:). Have been reading up all the threads in the forum.

My budget is 2k-5k(ideally less than 3.5k to 4k)

Still not sure whether to go for IEM or just a portable phone.(Read that the IEM's sound quality would depend heavily on how well the tips fit your ears?).Couldn't find any shops in Bangalore so far, who have Nuforce,Soundmagic,Koss,Brainwavz etc.

Klipsch S4 was available in ARN Internationals, price Rs 4490,as directed in a thread in Techenclave itself; but not sure whether it is worth going that high, esp. since read some people getting it for Rs 3.7K(online? because in ebay it is listed at Rs 4250).

So,was thinking of buying PX-100(Rs 2.7-3K) or PX-100-II(Rs 3.6-4k) instead.(would the sound stage be better when compared to similarly priced IEM's?).

Else, was thinking of buying Nuforce Ne-6(Lynx india has it priced around Rs 1.85k, but read support was v.bad, and numerous problems; In ebay, it is listed at a much higher price, but the seller's feedback rating is only around 92.5%, but I believe he is a trusted TE dealer). But, having never shopped online, would prefer to buy from a shop.(problems shipping to my place, as I am current staying in a PG). Any thoughts?

PS: Does this amount to hijacking the thread?If so, I am really sorry, thought OP and me had almost similar budget and iem listening history.
 
I had graduated from an EP 630 to Soundmagic PL11 and have also used RE2 (no longer using it) and now also have a MP21

Thank you for the offer but I have a friend coming back form the US pretty soon and she tentatively agreed to get it for me, I ll just have to wait 2 weeks for it which is no biggie.

I got a nice leather hard-cover box/pouch with it though
 
The pictures on head direct website show the RE0 come with a really wicked looking dragon pictured leather case, thats not there anymore?

I got that one when I ordered my RE2 from Head Direct some 2 years back
