Not so expensive speakers for TV

Any suggestion for speakers in 2-3k range for a LCD TV. The speakers might be primarily be connected to Airtel's DTH box or a PS3, so would like something with adequate input options.

Philips DSP 30U. You get 5.1 in RCA only however, plus USB audio playback.

What audio out option is on your tv . If its RCA then at that budget you could get something but if its
digital/optical then there is no hope . Even the airtel d2h has digital output . However on ps3 there is a option to connect normal speakers by passing audio on all channels ie HDMI and scart .
