@ Aces170, i know, that memory is on my hit list. along with G.skill. but the problem is getting it here. most probably by june hopefully along with the usual goodies.

I was merely trying to give a rational reply / explanation to aces170 for his query to the best of my ability. and i have specifically mentioned
Contemplating as follows
1)DFI nf4 ultra-D or its recently released cheaper version nF4-DAGF
2) 3000+ or 3200+ winnie or a venice core perhaps.
3) Radeon X800 XL gfx card.
4)Suitable rams to take advantage of the higher vDimm of the above m/b.
All parts /purchases should be completed by june end hopefully.
actually , as usual, there is a conflict between my mind and my heart over this.
Mind says: why do you need a more powerful m/c. the present m/c is more than enough for all your computing needs.:no:
Heart says: ignore mind just do it.:cool2:
and as in matters of love and hardware the heart wins everytime.

Currently i have a P4 2.8C , Abit IS-7 m/b, and OCZ enhanced latency rams. bought it nearly 2 years back. no problems yet inspite of periodic heavy abusing /ocing.deejay said:
