Nvidia has announced Retail GT 640 GPU at Computex .
The GT 640 DDR3 is the first retail GK107 part , it is similar to the OEM GT 640 announced previously . The card is equipped with 384 CUDA cores clocked at 900MHz . The memory is 128 bit wide with 2GB of DDR3 memory as standard . The memory will be clocked at 1782MHz .

The card will launch at price of $99 ( ~ Rs 5500 ) . The card will offer performance just under the GTS 450 compete with of HD 7750 at $10 lesser price , but will be behind the HD 7750 in performance because the memory bandwidth will hold it back .
