NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Is 2x Faster Than 4080 At $999, RTX 5070 Ti 2x Faster Than 4070 Ti At $769, RTX 5070 Faster Than 4090 For $549

NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5080, 5070 Ti & RTX 5070 GPUs are now official, offering massive leaps over their predecessors at stunning price points.

In addition to the flagship GeForce RTX 5090 and the launch of the new DLSS 4 technology, NVIDIA is also unleashing the rest of its GPU lineup including the RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070. These GPUs push the performance parameters to a whole new level, with 2x the uplift over the last-gen parts and also offering better value than before.

I don't want to get my hopes up but going by past experience the 5070 will be out of stock everywhere for 6-8 months, the SKUs that will be available will be the top of the line ones with a $200 markup and scalpers will list the remaining ones at $250 above msrp.

I highly doubt that the 5070 is faster than the 4090. Nvidia has to be fudging some numbers or benchmarks. At the very least, the figure includes DLSS4 and frame gen and/or even RTX performance. In the end, most of us are just interested in the pure raster performance increase. Still, good pricing on it even if the perf increase is like +40% compared to previous gen.

Even if you want this, there were rumours that they might switch to 3gb vram chips and 5070 should get a 18gb vram version in future. Much better than 12 which will bottleneck.
And obv, 5070 wont be as fast 4090 in raw perf, that's just for headlines.

12gb and 16gb on high end cards in 2025 should be a hard pass. I will stick to my 4070ti waiting for 6000 series launch or if amd gets off their lazy *** and does something good for once to compete.

Dlss is still relevant as with dlss my current card is very relevant. I played black myth wukong maxed out and getting 75-80 fps paired with a 9700x. But the vram limit of 12gb is hit as i see a lot more ram consumption sometimes going up 28gb when loading and reloading checkpoints.

Uhm any realistic idea where I can even get a 5070ti for MSRP here, No one is going to sell it under a lakh it seems. Not in the mood to play Rashi Roulette, will scout the local markets I suppose, now that Online retailers mimic the same bs behaviour as local markets used to.

12-pin connector for the FE cards seems to have blades instead of PCB pins this time around, should help with thermals on the connector. nVidia also seems to allow 8-pin PCIe for partners this time around instead of insisting on the dodgy little 12-pin. Still, only time will tell if the failure rates have gone up or down.

Looks really good for SFF and smaller builds, overall.

Keep calm ,every reviewer will bench mark the raw fps and bash nvidia if the perf is low. It's better to get low end card and use dlss / fsr/xess etc if gaming .invest remaining money on monitor
