Was my first thought too, there are no real laws for minimum wage in India and the work hours are twice as compared to most other developed countries.
 
actually this could bring lots of job opportunity to indian citizens.....
or maybe they ll bring workers too along with them:S
 
Will we still have to pay a premium on graphics cards if we try to buy them locally? I guess so.
I wish some nVidia card manufacturer would set up shop here. Sourcing a card from relatives in the US is a pita. Not to mention the warranty issues.
 
u cant buy the GPU alone. Some manufacturer has to come and start making PCB for it and plant their factory here.

i wish it were EVGA/BFG :D
 
The original article that seems to have started off this chain was published wayy back in mid-november by indian express. Jen made no mention of shifting to India in that..

2 weeks later, the Times published the same story with the added shifting twist. a few local papers caught on to it and cited the Times. NO international publication got wind of it thankfully until the ABT guys posted about it..
