The Chinese plastic wrap in the background :P
On a more serious note, Videocardz themselves. I don't trust them. It could be true alright, in the near future, but I just can't trust them. That's why I always refrained myself from posting their links. Need other independent sites to confirm.

Lol everything is made/assembled in China and Videocardz wasn't the source of the pic anyways.

Anything that I dont want to think of is a possibility is fake to me.

PS: My opinion. :)

This Founder's Edition scam they've started pulling off shows how many gullible buyers there really are in the market.
$250 price is just on paper just like the 1070 and 1080 launch prices, you won't find one for less than the FE + 10% when you'll be looking for one. They can just magically wash off their hands off of any responsibility and say we launched it at $250 while pulling strings on the supply end.

Strangely in India, Founder's edition cards have the lowest street prices currently. Mid tier AIB offerings like the MSI X, ASUS Strix non-OC are retailing for much more than FE cards. The Zotac Amp is priced at par and the G1 Gaming is just over FE prices. This is for both 1080 and 1070.

Also few AIB partners are playing a cynical game of their own. The Asus Strix available in India runs stock clocks and the EVGA SC edition just slaps a custom cooler on the reference PCB.

80% increased performance over gtx 960. Assuming nvidia prices it sanely in India, this'll be my next card. Probably at this years end when the prices stabilize a bit.

note: This is a hard launch, not just a paper launch

When you said 80% which one are you referring to? 1070 or 1080?
