NVIDIA Allegedly Moving Ampere to 7nm TSMC in 2021
One thing is clear, Samsung can't produce the Ampere-based GPUs quick enough or in enough volume so, from the looks of things, NVIDIA will be moving a large chunk of wafer fabrication to TSMC....

this is already expected. they went with samsung 8nm fabs because they couldn't get spot at tsmc 7nm foundry till end of next year. they did have few few spots left due to huawei not able to use tsmc due to usa sanctions but it was nowhere enough volume nvidia wantedNVIDIA Allegedly Moving Ampere to 7nm TSMC in 2021
