Firstly, most of the people in India having cars with OBD port cannot do this since it needs a TV screen. With that, read up the link.

In the same boat here. Have a 1st gen swift dzire, have a R-Pi, have a car display, have BT dongle et all.

actually it's the OBD port that has more issues than procuring a TV screen (touchscreen) in india.

@gauravH Only Maruti using some proprietary protocol. otherwise almost all Indian cars supports OBD-II.

Maruti was using a proprietary protocol earlier, now they follow standard OBD.
