CPU/Mobo OCZ freeze increased proccy temps

i have 550be initially on stock paste i had temps like 33-36 but today i applied ocz freeze and it literallly increased my temps to 39-41 its weird.

i applied it exactly in centre of processor and i didnt spread it alongsides by hand or using anything. Hope this's proper method as what i have heard and read.

Also while removing, the hsf was stuck to the proccy and tried hard and then only the hsf came out alongwith the proccy stucked to it.

I guess the stock amd paste was a charm for me here.

OCZ Freeze is a thick thermal paste , put a drop on the center and spread it into a thin layer with a credit card (or something else) and then check

Did you clean the HS and proccy properly before using freeze?

yes. i m not new to this. i have used as5 and ocz previously
