Imagine how the LP jacket will look. That prism...! Mmm...! Yea. !

Recently heard my copy (30th anniversary reissue - 180gm LP) on a VPI Classic with dynavector 20x cart and it was just mind blowing. The amp was a pretty spectacular Leben CS600 and the speakers were emerald physics. I still get goosebumps when I think of the experience.

Can you tell me a good site, or shop (NCR) for TT. Budget is no issue, but it should be logical -- as per me. Noob here.
Is the DP-29 really shitty..?

^^ I love the Good,The Bad and ugly Theme..........it wasssss aweeeesome!
The only regret as a kid i ever had was that other kids would consider "Dishkyoooon" as a gunshot..... for me it was always "sssthoahh" followed by the whistling from the theme....sigh.....loser kids!
Ill try digging up ( actually hell yeah!) my old lp player tooo...lets see if i can power that up too

These days we are so used to queing up a long playlist and forgetting it. Mixing stuff from anything & anywhere. How does one actually sit through something then get up and turn it over and then repeat again for another disc ?
I can see the use for collectors or DJs, but for just casual listening ?
The other thing that bugs me is many times because the format is shorter in length some tracks are missing from the CD version, which is also a lot easier to rip.
Its this strange combo of latest + old that perplexes me
I get the impression talking with a few ppl (elsewhere than here) that its more of an emotional thing than anything else. They like it and thats all there is to it, no more discussion!
But how do you reconcile the fact that you have no control over the sequence or the selection. The sound must be good but doesn't it get a bit tiring after a bit. In which case could you tell the difference between a lossless rip & the LP itself.I'd not waste my time of age old junk unless it actually gave me something more than what a convenient PC+DAC could offer.
