For those who "restored" their consoles by cleaning off rust from the connectors and other menial fixes.. what advice would you have for someone going to fix their old PS3?
So far I've cleaned out all connectors with a little bit of Isopropyl. HDMI port is still finicky and doesn't do 1080p (hoping to fix this soon). I'm not going to do anything crazy like repasting, just wanted to get it close to peak condition.
Any stories or advice welcome.
