Well this idea was hit upon in the 3D Mark 06 score thread. Like the super-pi leaderboard that we have in the OC section, I guess this one will also be a major hit with all the razmatazz :P...after all people out here upgrade their GFX cards more sooner than their proccies :P

To be eligible for the result to be the posted in the thread:-

1. An image should be posted such as all the details of GFX, CPU & RAM is visible on the 3D Mark 06 main window.
2. The format of submission of score is as follows:-
3Dmark06 Score----TE username ---- GFX card name & clock(core/shader/mem)--CPU name & clock -- Driver Version Used

The Driver version is optional for now as the old scores which I am collating does not have the driver versions. Users are requested to post the driver (forceware/Catalyst) details from now on.

Also one more thing to add...since some of us here has multiple cards, the best result with each card is being considered for the scores.

So here is the TOP 10 list to start with :

Some results are not taken into account as only webpages with the submission of the score has been given on the thread. Plz post in the format mentioned above to get listed here from now on :)

As the list was prepared based on the 3D Mark 06 scores thread...some error might have creeped in the rankings/scores....plz post here to get the scores/ranking corrected.
 
What's NA for, at the end of each result? Drop driver version req, screen and ORB verification should suffice :P

Damn, now I need a quad to keep up with the 8800GT's.... and Chaos needs a re-run with better drivers :D

CPU @ 3.6ghz | GPU @ 685/1100 | 3DMark score = 13,515 | Validation

 
I think driver version is needed ...as now a days with diff drivers scores are varying as much as by 300-400 3D marks :P
 
Ya I know that.....but sometimes u might not have internet while doing the benching (many of us here setup open rigs)...so I didn't keep ORB verification for nw.....screen shot with all the details as mentioned above is good enough :P

Anyway its upto all of u to decide the criteria :) for this leaderboard

drivers cause much less impact than the OS. Let people state their driver versions but should no affect the ranking in any way.

Those on XP will enjoy close to 500 points advantage with quad than those on vista (specially vista x64).

Even CPU score takes some serious hit in vista.
 
I feel C2D should be separated 4m the Quads as we are looking @ GPU scores.

I managed 13486 @ 714/999/1785 but my CPU score was only 3367 as I m on an E6750 @ 4.0GHz with 4GB RAM @ 1:1 ratio.

But this ain't final...I'll try crossing 13500 2nite & post SS with windows of CPU-Z, GPU-Z, Riva, 3DMark06, etc.
 
The score is as a whole 3D Mark score.....so I dnt think it will be fair enough :P...best thing is get a Quad :P

It's supposed to be winter here- but 3Dmks action hotting up the thread. :P

I foresee top scores toppling every now and then. :ohyeah:
 
LOL all I need to do to get a new top score is get a quadcore cpu from someone... With mild overclocking and a quad, 17.5k or so is relatively easy :P.

As of posting in both 3D mark score thread & here....I think if someone has a good score all u need to do post here only:P

Guys I m thinking to increase the leaderboard to 15 or 20 slots so keep ur scores coming :)

@Mods---Plz update the 1st post to update the new scores :)

Yup very true, earlier it was 1-2 submission a month, and now!!!, exciting times ahead!!!, gawd if my wife sees this she would faint, 3d Marks score gets me excited, :ohyeah: :rofl:
 
Hey you guys.. its always fun to have a "leader board" and it was started somewhere else already.. nevermind.. this is good too ;)

Also, I would like to request for keeping my old score of 13375 with 8800GTS.. as its a diff card and I did more hardwork to achive that score then the recent scores with 8800GT.
