So basically i want a laptop which is really really old... i dont care if the screen doesnt work etc... even the battery life can be about half an hour to hour max if possible.

I want to use this as a download rig which will be controlled via a web interface.

Price Range - 1k-2k max....

If your expected price is a bit more.. still do let me know and we can work something out i guess....

How could you expect to get a laptop for 1-2K? If this was true then the people would be buying laptops instead of micromax phones!! Are you that naive?
 
^^lol. micromax and laptops, no comparison at all. micromax phones can't be compared to china made phones also. the chinese ones are better.

Aren't Micromax phones essentially Chinese phones with their logo stamped on?
 
Arrey.... thats why i said REALLY old... and its ok if the screen aint working etc... :P

And anyways, i think i've found. Its a 15" celeron 1.4 Ghz laptop which is giving over 1 hour of battery <<tested it myself>> Will put on Ubuntu and it'll be a perfect downloading machine which i can control from my desktop :D Price is being quoted at 1.5k negotiable. :D

Problem solved !

If anyone still has something like that to sell... i might want another one.
