Actually Apple has dropped world wide prices on their notebook to make way for Centrino 2.

Even the Macbook has been slashed by 10k in India until 29th June.

You never know Dads- maybe he is very well ok with his present lappy and got it for you as a gift as he is proud of your results and placement with L&T and will be leaving for your job soon. :D
