OnLive is not like Steam, its a cloud based game hosting service that will stream the game directly to your browser. Min net speed required is 5mbps.

ya i know that.... what i meant by "i dont know the service" was that i dont know how well the games run....... or what the resolution ares............

You don't get a copy of game. You get to play 2-3 days or a week for $5-$10, or you can remove the time limit by paying about half the title price. Game is streamed at 720p and with predetermined graphics settings. Frame rates often get choppy at about 20-30 fps. Don't know how are they going to cope with the ever increasing server load. It's no brainer that someone having 5mpbs connection would pay for this instead of getting a good graphics card.

Oh, Miss Under Standing then :) There was a review at IGN or Gamespot of the service, the games do not have very high quality settings or high fps. Good for those single player only titles that you complete and forget in about one week.

Not really. There's still the little matter of input latency. Depending on how far away you are located, do you really want to play singleplayer games with a lag of 100ms?

It will be much worse compared to playing multiplayer games where 100ms is not a big deal anymore thanks to modern network codes because game developers don't think to make use of these optimizations for the singleplayer counterpart.
