[OOS]Xiaomi Power Banks available on flipkart again (unverified trick to score 10400 mAh one inside)

I received the Xiaomi Mi 10400mAh power bank just now. I had ordered it on early morning Monday. The aluminum casing feels premium. But looks very prone to scratches. I planned to buy that soft gel case but that thing costs 250 Rs and up. Not gonna buy now. Instead I am using the small pouch I got with the soundmagic earphones.

Guys I have a 10400mah Xiaomi power bank bought from flipkart but it takes for ever to charge it up to full.
On a 2.4amp Ipad charger it takes 14+ hrs to charge it from zero to full. The manual says it should charge in 5.5hrs on 2amp charger.

Did i receive a defective unit.

What cable are you using? It takes around 6 hrs to charge with a 2A charger.

Are you using the same cable that was bundled in the power bank or at least you are using some good quality original cable ? It matters a lot as to what cable is being used.
I have faced issues with substandard cables when the phone used to take lots of hours to charge.
If you are using bundled cable then i don't know what the problem is.
If some other cable then try to use bundled one first. I haven't got chance to charge my Mi Power bank yet so cannot comment on time taken.

Charger capacity also matters. Pl. check the capacity of the charger. Smaller the rating, longer it would take to charge.
Am not sure, if this is the first time you are charging a large capacity battery like the 10,400mAh Mi, it would seem ages!

According to the DC clamp meter the PowerBank is pulling 0.95amp from a 2.4amp IPad charger and about 0.75 amp from samsung 1amp charger.(But here again there are so many variables like the jumper cable i used which is from a front usb port to motherboard taken from a old PC,not sure if its designed to handle that many amps).

As far as the charging ,I was using a USB male to female extension cable(which i got with a corsair flash drive) connected to the ipad charger and then used the supplied xiaomi cable.(I used to charge the ipad with the same extension, pretty sure my IPAD never took 14hrs to charge)

Have ordered a USB amp/volt meter to further analysis.

But if one looks at the negative or 1 or 2 star reviews in flipkart many other people have faced similar issue of slow charging.

I read in a review that the powerbank can draw 2.1A from wall charger. Charging time of 6 hrs for a full charge proves that I guess. If the cable is not the issue then it's faulty.
