tht too when it did the whole configuration..never asked me a single question during the setup and just showed a lame progress bar all the while....Not me alone, numerous ppl around the world have had this problem with Ubuntu not booting up or freezing at the splash screen and showing tty error.... if u need proof, u can check the Ubuntu forums... So tht means Ubuntu sucks as well, doesnt it?? So dude, like many other things, a distro can be many things to many ppl...u may prefer one, while the other guy may prefer another...So dont criticize it just bcos u've had a bad experience with it...
