The orange Box just came up for pre purchase at an UNBELIEVABLE price or 45$ , thats lesser than the price of a single game (BIOSHOCK was FOR 50$). . . IGN calls it "The Deal Of The Century!!"

The Orange Box features three highly-awaited new games by Valve: Half-Life® 2: Episode Two, the second installment in the Half-Life 2 episodic trilogy; Team Fortress® 2, the sequel to the game that put class-based, multiplayer team warfare on the map; and Portal, the game that blends puzzles, first person action, and adventure gaming to produce an experience like no other.

To bring gamers up to date with the Half-Life 2 universe, The Orange Box also includes Half-Life 2, the best-selling and highest-rated action game series of all time, and the episodic debut Half-Life® 2: Episode One.

The game is only up for pre purchase and will be playable by Monday,17th SEPT. . .FINALLY THE WAIT IS OVER

 :clap:Steam - The Orange Box:clap:

Guyz, any idea how much the retail version will be priced and the availablity in india?

Retail box should be 1799/- or 1999/-. I have already got the HL2 : Holiday Collection, but I am still getting this one. :P

Odered it 5 mins ago..:bleh: They r giving away another game with it..some popcat game..or something... and the game is not playable from sep 17th.Only the beta version of TF2 will be available. All other games wil be launched simultaneously on oct 9th.

I already own HL2 and EP1. I am kinda looking forward to Team Fortress though. I hope the pricing is under Rs.1,699/- The Distributor will ofcourse be Milestone Interactive. and I swear to god, If they give Orange Box in a custom Milestone packing (read: Shitty paper quality, no manuals and the logo Milestone everywhere) I'll be forced to go there and Kill them all.

I got the HL2 : Holiday Collection for 1299/- (Contains Half Life 2, Half Life 2 - Episode 1, Half Life - Source, Half Life 2 : Death Match and Counter Strike - Source). It came in a solid Plastic box same as the one that sold outside India. So I guess there would be no change in the packaging for Orange Box either. Also the Publisher/Distributor in India was WWC and not Milestone.

Well that's good news. I bought HL2 way back in 2004. that time, Milestone was the distributor. guess I should check my facts before posting :) thanks for clarifying. VU Games is no longer associated with Milestone Interactive.

one question guys? Does anyone know about the length of episode 2.Epi 1was kinda short....as a matter of fact too short..

Valve had said that the in EPISODE 1 they were trying out how the gamers responded to the episodic format instead of a full game like HALF LIFE 3 and so on . . . so they made it pretty short just to release the game early however this time they promised to keep the gameplay time at least comparable to HL2. .:ohyeah:
