Anyways the capacity formatted capacity is 29.7gb....so 2.3gb lost!!It came pre formatted in exFat. Shall I try it to NTFS to gain some extra space may be a GB or some MBs?
It is due to the difference in calculation of size between manufacturers and the computer. The computer calculates it in a different way.. 32GB = 32 x 1024 x 1024 x 1024 = 34,359,738,368 bytes.
But manufacturers say that 32 GB = 32,000,000,000 bytes which translates to 32,000,000,000/(1024 x 1024 x 1024) = 29.80 GB which is what you have.
