Ordered using VCC on ebay.com, seller didn't ship

Guys I have ordered something from ebay.com using my HDFC VCC & paypal. Now seller didn't ship the product & today is deadline. I doubt he even would ship it.

So what happens to money ? Does it come back to bank from where VCC was generated ? or goes paypal or any other ??

Amount comes back to card. Happened with me once while shopping on Amazon US.

Contact seller and then take action.

Dont worry, the money will come back to your account, however, VCC takes normally 12-16 days to return back to the account, Kotak VCC is much faster in this case when compared to HDFC vcc, faced such condition many times

If you doubt, send a email to HDFC Bank, they will confirm whether the card was charged or not.

Accordingly you can plan the next step. Happened with me in case of indiaplaza (yeah, i know, but couldn't get that book anywhere else!) - HDFC Bank confirmed that the VCC was not charged.

I thought VCC gets charged when we make the payment !
