Original BP-6M Battery for Nokia 6233.

I got one off Ebay last year, after my first one died after 2 years of prolonged usage. The one I got off Ebay didn't seem to sustain even 2-3 hours of talk time on a full charge. It would drain rapidly. My earlier one would last me for at least 2-3 days with a good amount of talk time. Now I'm reduced to a very poor battery life and it goes down to half bar within 30-40 minutes of usage.

Where can I get an original BP-6M battery? Has anyone got it lately?

is it the one which i used in n73 as well , if yes then i bought one for m dad's n73 for rs 610/- from a local nokia dealer , nokia n73 abttery is easily available everywhere and the new one now gives good battery backup of almost 2-4 days depending on usage.

its as good as the new one , never purchase cellphone batteries online via ebay coz u never know wat exactly wud u get ,

abd btw wat did it cost u on ebay?

^ why not at local nokia delaers, they r everywhere plus saves 2-3 days transit time as well

Mohit, the last battery which I got from Ebay was for around Rs.250/-, which I assume would be fake in all probability. It looked pretty original with the Nokia cover and the whole 6 months official Nokia warranty tag, but I guess it was pretty urgent for me to get it back then, so didn't really have any choice.

Anyhoo, I'll check with a nearby Nokia dealer or get one from the Flipkart website that Metal passed on. Thanks again guys, knew I could count on you.

^^You should visit nokia care for original nokia parts/accessories as nokia priority dealers will sell it for a slightly higher price, Here is the link for the addresses of nokia care centres:

the 250 rs battery is fake 100% ,no doubt abt it

the original one costs rs 610 exact which i bought from local nokia dealer , has a print price mrp of 610 only , get from a local dealer only

I ordered one off from Flipkart for Rs.539/- (discounted price). Let's hope it's genuine.

BAH! I'm always am on the move, but for petty things like these, I would prefer online purchase.
