Oscar Nominations

Good to see Hurt Locker getting its due recognition and Oscar fame but little surprised by Jeremy Renner's nomination. Its great film but his acting was OK to me, not exceptionally good.

Avatar was almost certain to be listed in categories in which it is nominated.
 
Avatar would probably win most of it. At 25mins Hurt Locker would have been great but as a movie it it felt lengthy.

Also hope A Serious Man gets some award.
 
i found inglorious basterds to be very average and not as good as the original 1970's movie.

hurt locker deserves it.

It's not a remake buddy.........it is Original :S:S:S
The 1970s film was just a similar film with Same title ..thats it!!

And yeah, sad to see Moon being snubbed completely and avatar getting Best Picture nomination.....Oscars will lose all its credibility if it wins!!!:p

it would have been much better if OYE LUCKY OYE or DEV D wouls have been in foreign entry :(
 
Inglorious Basterds for me, best movie of 2009.

Though I haven't seen hurt locker yet. Avatar to me now is EXTREMELY overrated.
