So please stop "crying" and get on to my level... that would be really better for India. :ohyeah:

Nice run dude...but as rio mentioned, I'm sure much more can be achieved with the same hardware. I ve a 1st hand experience abt optimization and must say KIDDO ROCKS.

But, I also know U prefer to ve unoptimized runs...and agree with U abt earnig Ur place in this small circle. But U ve no right to stop us 4m crying :tongue: Thats our birth right :bleh: And who wont, looking at what U ve achieved & howmuch the various companies pamper U :P

And getting to Ur level...well, I'd say evey1 is better @ something than the other and the level depends what 1 is talking abt. I know there are ppl trying hard to get at Ur level, but not me.

I wanna be in the circle, not on top or the bottom :P And I really wish all of us were a team INDIA & thats the only way to get noticed by the industry & get more, nice, new hardware locally, when its launched...not after 6 mts.

But U already know how much I want all of us 2 work 2gether. With Ur experience, Kiddo's optimizations skills, and Adi's knowledge...I don't know what scores could ve been achieved !!! And I ve no clue abt the other ppl in B'lore, etc. Well I'll keep hoping.

Lastly, I'm sad U gave away the Q9650...was hoping to C a 25K 3DM06 score as U are a 3DM guy. But m sure they'll send U something better, soon & U will do it.

Well he who does good is good- no two ways about it and talent/achievement never goes unnoticed. :)
But since you always mention this point, you put forth this image of yourself that you have this unfounded fear that the whole world, dog, cat, rat, ... is conspiring against you and you are not getting the recognition you deserve. :P

Getting back to the topic...did U disable any cores or was that with all the 4 cores enabled ??? Cause I though U get the better results with only 1 core but Kiddo proved it otherwise.

More importantly, when are U gonna post the 3Dmark06 scores @ that clocks with the X2 :P

I'm sure its over 22K and don't tell me U didn't run any 3DM06 as I think U mentioned LN2 on CPU & GPU both ^o
 
Bro it was done but it was still with 8800GT... no point running X2 on LN2 unless I modd it... which will be soon. So wait for sometime and you shall hear from me :D

Go for a trip to Singapore next time with Harshal..

Well only one thing I will tell....when the SNG Asus OC contest was gng on....Harshal/Team THL was asking if anyone was interested enough to join in as spectator/contestant or whatsoever. No one joined in then for various reason. Cmon no one will get it to you on the plate....u have to do something worth-while to get noticed. Its not about getting a QX9650....say whoever even has an E2140 ....try to get the WR with air cooling/water cooling or whatever you can afford. See Funky's post on the air cooling with his E8400....that was even more than ADI could do with his water cooling....so thats where the question is.Everyone try his best with whatever u have & post here....not just saying u could have done better. Everyone has decent hardware to try out things instead of just blabbering.

U guys are crying about optmizations but for me volt modding or any other hardware modding is more interesting.

Also everyone asking for 3870x2 Quad fire results.....its not worthwhile as ATI officially still doesn't support it in Catalyst 8.2 as of now. Most probably it will be shown off in Cebit this year in 1st week of March. Pity everyone was asking for it not even knowing there are no drivers for it yet.

I am nt intending any offence to Kido & his group. If fact me & kido had an eventful night ocing the E6300....well thats the only 100% OC on an E6300 achieved in India , that also on air cooling and top of that TT BT shitty cooler (it was nt even an open rig)....Congrats to both Harshal & Team [E] on doing us proud. Others plz also keep this OC & modding section alive instead of blabbering :P

no doubt Harshal had made history :D ..... awesome scores mate, but people rather than posting words here you can post number and believe me that will be far better :)
 
Thanks for the congratulations... but facts correction.

Harshal asked me if I was interested, I had said yes, then after a couple of days was said that it was not possible....for whatever reasons. Don't say we were not interested.... Harshal's contact with Shamino helped a lot there :)

@about modding: Are you just doing the soldering or repeating the circuits someone else has figured out in some other forum using his skills? For modding, all thats needed is Internet, a CC to order parts and contact with a friendly electronics shop guy. If that what counts, we moded the hell out of our IP35-Pro :)

Kido show us the way & may be design a volt mod for the upcoming 9600GT. We all know u r quite capable of that :)....btw did u try contacting Intel India after ur showdown if they can help u with anything ?

We had long discussion before also in another thread regarding OC competition !!!!! It seems getting to the top is more important than evening spreading the knowledge/know-how or even expand the community. Also this is a official TE super Pi thread....we are getting so many good scores...in fact many are among the top 200 & someone visits it & all he will she is ppl fighting with each other ! What a good pic guys...awesome ....even if u do 7Ghz & keep fighting no point then ....just show off I have to tell

This shows only 1 thing. Our inability to acknowledge peers and move forward.

Shows our restrictive mentality.

I can only tell you one thing. If we work together, share knowledge everyone will move 1 step forward.

Everyone wants to do 1 better than someone else. Thats known fact. but there are ways behave on a public forum. Leave your personal egos out for a moment. And I mind you it goes to all. People from both the camps that are fighting over stupid things. Its like a freakin catfight.

Do we see such things on the international level? Have you ever seen offending comment towards fellow overclocker on XS or OCX or HOCP?? Nope. This is first time I am seeing this.

And I beg all of you to give it a rest. I avoided speaking about this till now but its getting out of hand. With the scarcity of materials, resources parts that we face here, we are better off communicating with each other than behaving like this.

Be a bigger man, someone............................
