@ Kido, Yes Shamino is a very good friend of mine, what’s wrong in it ? And if he invites me to events, helps me like friends always do, don’t you do the same with your friends? So I don’t see a reason to crib over it. Also I sincerely request to keep him out of this as he is a respected overclocker and very good human being and dragging his name into something which he is not even remotely related to, doesn’t look good.

As for AOCC, here are the facts:
1] Sham invited me to the OC event, as he was since past 3 years.
2] He said I can come alone or bring a team.
3] Each team should not have more than 2-3 members.
4] I chose my teammates obviously to go with me, wouldn’t you do the same thing ?
5] If you remember, the event was for 2 days, 1st day was Air/Water cooling based competition where everyone who wanted to, could participate. So technically, if you wanted to represent your team, you could have because Singapore itself had 4-5 teams IIRC for first day.
6] Second day was only Country based teams participating and since we went from India, we were called Team India, now don’t blame US for that. It was not we who decided, the organizers did.

I guess that pretty much explains the whole AOCC issue.

Now coming to V-Mods, well it’s not a rule to 'FIND' new mods and then only you are supposed to do it.
Agreed that the mod was not 'discovered' by me but the fact still remains that I did the mod myself, if you believe it or not, I really don’t care.
You have a problem with that too, hence I am really not going to continue this as I really don’t see the point in doing so.

Reread and REREAD my post again. I said, having contacts with Shamino helped. WHERE in the world I suggested Shamino is bad, dragged his name or suggested he is a bad human being?

I replied to Bikey's post saying "No one was interested." Have you forgotten our MSN conversation? What exactly went down there. As a rule I don't archive old conversations, but if I had, I would have that to back me up. You said "wanna come to Singapore?" I had no idea what you were talking about (if you remember correctly, none of us had any exp of xtreme cooling back then) and was totally aghast. Then you told me about the event and gave me the link... and we talked about passports/tickets/etc. You were still unsure about the possibility, and then you confirmed in the -ve about us not being able to go along (you were already 3 ppl going I guess.) WHERE in the world does that demonstrate "US" being not interested and trying to bring you down in your day of glory? Thats what pinched us.

Also, I particularly never had any problems with your posts.... your team mates said "very decent score for first attempt"... duh -.- Thats the highest score till date (in the indian perspective)... even if the score is better than yours by 1 3DMark, it is "better" than yours. The fact of the matter is, it is easier to clock higher multiplier CPUs than lower multiplier. One of the reasons Amey's and appo's E8400 clock stopped at 5240Mhz and their E8500 has gone on to 5400Mhz (and I am sure back up scores are there)... has33 was a little blunt in posting that "fact" (I agree to that) but then you guys desended and made a mockery of "my" thread... do you remember me doing that in your thread? My first post in your LN2 thread at XS was a congratulations post... not post saying "wish you had done better" But we have not gotten that from majority of your team members.

And now ANP! posted at THL "locked multis"... again, I am sure you have not done that... but still, why is it STILL going on? Poking fun at the expense of others? Ofcourse, we all have done that... but being civil in public is first and foremost... I have done that mistake, and am ready to own up to it... time you did so as well.

And ofcourse, besides all that... we have Bikey... he called me a "all knowing guru" and "Did I ask you you that question?" and "Do you run on energizer batteries?"... I cannot involve in ass-kissing... totally. Till Bikey has not posted his own scores and proved himself, he will be JUST another guy who likes to stir the pot for some fun. He was not like this before (I really liked him, and have bored him for long about bike questions) but not sure whats going on now.

Congratulations again on making #1, but remember, we have not let the fight down as yet. Soon we wont have to "crib" about you having a unlocked multiplier anymore... maybe that will chill everyone down.

Over and out... hopefully my next post in this thread will be a "congrats" or a "SuperPi time."

Well only one thing I will tell....when the SNG Asus OC contest was gng on....Harshal/Team THL was asking if anyone was interested enough to join in as spectator/contestant or whatsoever. No one joined in then for various reason.

If you start reading statements in their entirety, you might have a different view- like i said- not everyone is conniving and sarcastic and ia m certainly not.

See- open mind- healthy exchange of words- no bad blood.
Earlier posts on TE used to be long convos and seemingly weird remarks used to reveal themselves in true light at the end of it coz the discussions were done in entirety.
Now if one makes a statement to probe someone and the next thing you get is a long post on how rude people are and a 'Over and OUT' exit.
No one allows the discussion to go through.
Maybe i have grown so fond of my seniors is coz when i joined, not a single doubt was left unattended irrespective of how weird or lame the query was.
In fact inspite of all the best TE seniors trying to make me see the light, it was Funky's flat, blunt reply that actually knocked sense into my head.
'Deepak' had even started a thread on the same saying i indulge in personal attacks when i had grilled the poor chap on not being sre with his statements and posting assumptions and even 'thebanik' doesn't like me maybe.
Though he went a lil more ahead to vent his angst.
(i hope i don't see one more controversy being raked up by this. )
When i said 'do u run on energizer'- i hope you recall the Energizer Advt that ran some years back- the 'Never say die' one.
And why did i say that- coz this Q and A session just wasn't ending on a thread meant for a scores and few congos.
That's it.
Similar to the debate on the OC COMPY thread- where i stopped discussing coz it wasn't going anywhere.
And even there i used that sidey joke of 'fsb wall'. :rofl:

Plus the mods chose to delete my entire posts this time in ur LN2 run thread instead of just editing out the O/T part ( and it was a big post showing true appreciation for the achievements by you'll)- can't blame them really- coz i am a pain in the @$$ and all my posts have O/T 99.99% of the time.
And i have been too lazy the past few days to type it again - but i did congratulate in short in this thread itself iirc.
I do not take sides- even my parents/best friends know that they shouldn't count on me for help if they are in the wrong- so will my parents as they have taught me NEVER to break rules or do anything wrong.
I doubt if any of my friends take me seriously.
Worst being even when i tell them i am damn serious. :rofl:

p.s. I am the best OCer in India (who doesn't OC or even afford a rig:lol- but i may be able to crush the DICE, sit by the pot and keep stirring it. :lol:
