Hey guys,

so here is the story of my life a year ago i got a nice gift. A core i7 920, asus p6t board and 6gb of patriot ram, and then, like a storm my computer was hit, by water, and down went the board and down went the 8800gtx and to make matters worse down went the cm 650w extreme power plus (just to make it clear, i think this had it coming its way but any who).

so i did what every panicky guy would do.

took LOADS of paper towels and cleaned and dried all i could reach and then cleaned with iso-propyl alchohol.

alas but the damage was done. what was dead could not be revived

so once again began my crusade to secure funds to build a rig truly capable of being called a gaming rig

so i conquered my resources and procured the parts.

i still have the main component left (waiting on my corsair 600t caninet) and it will be here in a while but till then, here are a few pics to keep you guys happy

i know it made me happy :)

Coongrats :D From where did you get the GTX460 Hawk edition and for how much ? A friend needs one and is finding it difficult to source from lamington for a good price. :P

that board looks so down right nasty

its a true beauty to look at :)

man the board is neat

especially at its price point

but i just want to say that u should have a look at in in person coz the colors are way better in real life

the board feels good with the ceramix coating (no results yet as i haven't installed in yet)

but i say go for it :)

Still remember fighting that p6t.. we almost won.. it came back from the dead for a quite a while..but alas it was destined to go back as well :P
Cant wait to put this new baby through its paces once all the hardware is here !

yes we fought the p6t hard and we did make it through for quite a bit

remember the 8800gtx

the copper hs on it

man it was beyond the grave, yet we got it back
