Overbilling issues with BSNL

Hi All...

March was my first month with BSNL BB...This was my usage statistics

Select the month : Mar-2009-Billed

Total Downlink Data(KB) Total Uplink Data(KB) Chargable Units (KB)
Excluding Night Unlimited
48949069 4844233 1211934

So I have a Chargeable of about 1.1 GB.... This can go upto 2.5GB r8??..
i am on Home 500 C+.

I got a Bill of 8200... :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

In the breakup of charges there is a 5900..which i have no idea...

Is this ok???

I am going to the Accnts officer today....with the disc-connection letter....

Please advise...

Who had asked u to go for Nite Unltd plan.. ?

After God knows how many ppl pointing out in one of the threads that IF u opt for Nite Unltd and get screwed up cuz of some fault.. u wd be facing the music.. their CC sucks and even the billing s.w

And now u talkin abt Disconnect letter..

Be a lil reasonable.. and change ur plan to 750 UL one.

now how does that help this poor soul with his problem with ur stats may i ask ?
I been using BSNL for 4+ years and this time period included the Nite Ultd plan as well until the unltd plan came out. And i had the same problem 2wice as Jeri.
So try to understand what prev poster had in his mind before posting.

get ur printouts after re checking and hit the office..
take ur applications along as well and be prepared for a nice learning curve if u want ur bill cleared of all those anomalies.
Any contact in the BSNL office will help.
I got my problem fixed on both the occassion.. just try to calmly break the news to those nerds that there is a problem in the system and u been a victim.
Furnish ur claim with the records and u shd be thru.
Just make sure u go there with all the documents ready so u finish the work in one go itself.

yes it has happened with many people in the past
u know bsnl , they can screw anyone,
but one can always contact them to clear all issues
dats it.
nobody here can solve his problem:(
he has to get it all cleared himself only
hope evrything comes to place asap

My father went there with all the docs and the issue got solved....

They have put the ENTIRE YEAR rent together... so that i dotn have to pay every month.... My father readily said... change it into monthly... awaiting new bill..

Dude it aint noting I got charged rs80000, yes rs 80000. Beczuse of some cross connection and misunderstanding they changed my plan away from unlimited.
Anyway we wrote a letter to accnt officer and some round ups to his offfice , now the bill was put into dispute and there is still investigation going on, its been around 4-5months now.
They said its the 3rd highest bill in history of mtnl and bsnt in India.
So dont worry about it. 8000 is nothing.
 
switch to unltd. You can avoid another potential situation like this.

and dont pay in bulk. I paid 900x10 just 2 months before they reduced the rates to 750 :(

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you're in 500C, the limit is 1.5GB per month.
And the last column, viz. "Chargable Units (KB) Excluding Night Unlimited" is what you must really look out for ..
Thats 1211934 KB == 1211 MB == 1.2 GB right?
You're well within the limits man.. Don't need to worry! :bleh:
