Overclock problem or application problem

HI Guyz i need help as i have just bump my intel q9450 from 2.66ghz to 3.20ghz but i am facing some problem in game but nt all. it just crash error like "XYZ stop working need to close" using vista 64bit sp2 but if i play tht game without oc it will work perfect. whts wrong i am doing?i have tested stablity test prime95 for 24 hours no crash.i test memtest also noo error and these babby never cross 57'c after 24 hours test at 3.20ghz. so plzz guyz need suggestion is application or overclock problem ....

Prototype,Medal of Honor Airborne,Wolfenstein and when playing counter strike 1.6 loss and choke increase if oc if i remove it will work proper no choke

but i think it is the problem with your graphics

what is your gpu?

and while overclocking did u lock your pci frequency at 100 mhz

most of the mobos increase your pci frequency also simultaneously with your fsb

if u did lock then try the 3dmark06 and see if it crashes in the graphics test session:huh:

buddy i have lock pci at 100 and did 3d mark06 no crash and i am using sapphire HD4870x2 2gb

underclocking it from 3.20ghz and finding a stable state for your GAMES is what i can help:S:S!!!!

no problem buddy its hard lucky for me but its stable at 2.8ghz i can play games hours
