Hi there,

That isnt the best motherboard for overclocking,so best thing to do is raise the FSB.

Here is a clockgen download link which i think will work on your mobo ftp://ftp.x86-secret.com/dfi/855gme/clockgen/CG-ICS952618.zip

First click the get values and see if everything is right..

Then slightly raise the FSB by 5-10MHz and see if everything is stable, increment it slightly, step by step.

Make sure u monitor the cpu and mobo temperatures..

I think your motherboard support the 133Mhz FSB,so u can safely reach upto that..

In case your pc freezes, that means you've hit the limit of some component, just restart it..

and as always a disclaimer,do it your own risk lol

I installed the software

I raised the FSB by 17......

Is there a software where it tell the current GHz....instead of CLOCKGEN..

Just overclocking your system is not enough, you will have to run some stability testing as well. Your comp might be running at insane speeds but no point if it crashes when on load.

Get prime 95, the blend test for cpu stress testing

And memtest86 for testing out your ram.
