P1i Help needed

Hi guys, just unpacked my new p1i, i got it from dubai, just went through all but when i tried to type a new sms using the keypad, its comin in arabic, i tried changing the language settings to ENGLISH(U.K), but no use, again the arabic letters are comin, when i use virtual keyboard, the english keyboard comes, but when i type using keypad, arabic comes, four arabic letters are displayed as background, is it because any other additional software is preinstalled? Pls help guys..

Also is there anyway to upload Non Arabic firmware?

r u sure dude? that will rectify the language problem.. im trying 2-3 days to change n i have changed all the options to english.. still arabic is coming..

Quite amazing, I hope you have selected the correct language i.e. English !!

Some quick solution i was able to browse over

"With the flip open, tap the virtual keyboard located at the bottom of the screen and the tap abc located at the left of 123."

or

Try a long press on the "#" key before composing a message.
