CPU/Mobo p5bdlx or xfx680i

Dude firstly there's nothing called 'xfx680i'

The chipset is the nVidia 680i and the board is called ASUS P5N-E 32SLi

If you wanna overclock seriously, get the 680i based board :)

Err...both are equally good IMO, but I'd personally prefer the 680i...

@Anish, XFX also has a 680LT chipset, available for 10-11k some 2k cheaper then the Asus P5n32

^^ There is an XFX 680i LT Motherobard. Its not available in India, AFAIK.

Get either one. Both 680i and 965 are great chipsets, if you dont plan on SLI and dont want insane Overclocking parameters, get the P5B Deluxe.

XFX 680i LT is easily available for 10k here Adi.

Its 100% reference Nvidia board. And its a good VFM board in the performance sector.

So if you dont want fancy features of P5N32-E SLI , this is very good alternative at lower cost. Would be nice board to complement E6400.

Yup, If you want to keep SLI option open and want very good overclocking features, this is the board to get.

both are equally good the only question appears here is that are u gona OC ur system when u get it.
AFAIK nvidia 680i chipset mobo is goodfor OC :)
if u dont want some fancy stuff get the P5n32

yeh definitely gonna clock..but is the cooling on the 680 mobo good enough for clocking?? coz i dont wanna spend further for extra cooling!

definitely member of mass destruction.. :cool2: no offence but dude.........................................................................

spynic could prove your point rather than sticking the tongue out XD

Both the boards are equally good. I think people prefer the xfx's version because its less showy and more towards performance. Not only that, it does give great OC abilities, considering the fact even if it doesnt has the fancy heatpipe and its boring green. 2 boards are good in their own right.

XFX IS BOLD-AND ASUS IS BEAUTIFUL-rest is upto the peeps!!!!

ok thak so much..but the xfx supports only 800mhz ram right?? thts again gonna be a bit expensive to get 2 gigs off!!Correct me if im wrong on d ram?
