p990i .doc and .txt issues

Anyone having these? Can't open a simple .doc or .txt file. Says it's out of memory. No images, only text. The .doc is ~340kb and the .txt is ~150kb. Says "error opening file" for the .txt file.

PDFs are opening just fine.
 
^ Uh.. what's you phone memory like. I've moved all the pre-installed tones/themes etc to the mem card, which gives me about 45MB of free space.

Try keeping you phone memory clean as far as possible.

Files are on the mem card :)
 
well i can open .doc n .txt files..but the ones i've tried are like 75-100kb ones..pdfs work fine as well...:)

wait, i'll try a larger doc file...:)
 
I tried 2MB PDFs worked properly.

.txt and .doc larger than 100KB had problems.

I tried a few 50KB .txt and .doc they opened without ne issues.
