So these are like hacked firmwares which unlock hidden potential of the router.

It requires a lot of reading on that site to download the perfect file and use it.

Hi Guys

Is there a way to transfer files to the PC or Laptop having a WLan Card.

Is there a way to share internet using a Wlan card in Adhoc mode.

I tried to establish a connection using 2 P990i but none of the phones
detected each other.

How do u connect a phone and a Wlan card in Adhoc mode.

Is it compulsary to have a Access Point to connect to the PC.

I have never used Wifi nor configured Wifi.

Which is the cheapest n best 802.11g Wifi Access Point.

It is possible . I have P990i and i am able to connect with my Frnd's lappy .

Here is Step by Step Guide.
1) Go to WLAN Menu
2) Turn On the WLAN
3) Click On WLAN (TOP) >>
4) Click on New Account > In Account Name just Put any Name
5) In Network Name (SSID) Put any Name
6) Authentication - Open
Now this is the Main Step Infrastructure Mode and Ad Hoc Mode
7) Choose Ad Hoc Mode
8) In Channel. Choose Any Channel from 1 to 11 . ( And Also Set the same Channel In you Lappy . Otherwise Your Lappy wont find P990i's SSID ) .
9) Now Click on Right Arrow (>) .
10) Data Encryption - None
And now Save the config . and Your done .
Find the SSID in your Lappy . and u will able to connect with Your P990i

I have a dialer based net connection will i be able to share net on my P990i
using the buffalo access point.

Also is it possible to connect one P990i to another using Wifi.

I wanna know how will i be able to share net on my P990i using the AP.

as i tried out with my neighbours P990i and got frustrated as i wasnt able to connect.
