I also went to the movie last night, Overall 8/10 From Me...The movie is very well Directed as well as Told. I wasn't expecting much of it though but it took me by surprise(we people did not have anywhere else to go so went).

As far as the movie is concerned.. Actor Irrfan what do we say 'ghuss gya role mein'

Awesome acting. I dunno who directed the movie but very good direction, all those little detailing etc if you observe fits right into the movie. Story 7/10. I would'nt comment anything on it. That is something you have to watch and see for yourself. All in all..Definitely worth watching. Recommended.

Sorry if something here is like wrong, i still haven't recovered from last night's hangover.

you explained it very well dude.. and that too without revealing anything about the movies.. very well written short review..
 
Glad to be of help...I rarely comment on the plot of a movie..It definitely depends from person to person. Anyways Must watch.

Best Bolly movie of the year by far and best one in a LONG time. Irrfan was excellent as always. Glad there were no songs either, would have ruined it.

Director is tigmanshu dhulia.One time assistant of shekhar kapur and director of hit saheb biwi and gangster.Which i loved watching.

He was junior to irfan khan in NFID and have prevented irfan from going into semi retirement while he was on television.
 
the movies not bad.. but it fails to create that interest that this kinda storyline should have . coz it lacks the dramatism in the scenes.. sound plays a very important role in movies, especially this kind.. and the background sound was not that gripping and quite a few parts of the movie were very silent in terms of background music.. even the running scenes , which felt very highlighted in the movie, were not well shot at all .. i guess this was because irfan khan obviously coulnt run like the athlete.. most of running scenes were lots of cuts and closeup of legs.. .. the movie failed to capture the athletic mood in the movie..

hats off for recognizing the people in the movie and the people to whom the movie is dedicated to, but no matter how true and touching the storyline, the movie needs to have dramatism which the movie lacked..

needless to say, irfan khans acting was excellent.. that was basically the only reason the movie felt very appealing to me..

heheh.. i found lots of people after the poor guy.. give him a break... this is what the guy does . hes got his own websites too with tech updates and news and stuff..
 
Really liked the movie.

Of course, as mentioned earlier in the thread, some things couldve been improved, like background score, and a little more "oomph" in the storyline.

But it was pretty decent.
