Well my first bunk at college:ohyeah::ohyeah::ohyeah: and went to watch Paheli. I can even hear someone grinning:P:P:P:P

Weel as all know SRK plays a bhoot.......ths story starts on a different note contrary to popular notions that Suneil Shetty Plays Rani's Husband and what not.........

SRK n Rani marry and after the marriage while going to their home they have a stopover at a fort where bhoots/ghosts(128 i think) are believed to exist and one of the Bhoot likes Rani.

SRK goes away the next day of his marriage to earn money and apparently reaches the same fort and one of the bhoots realises that he is going away so he takes up the roop of SRK and goes backto SRK's Haveli

The bhoot tells all about himself to Rani and Rani even loves the Bhoot.......they even have a daughter later in the movie:wtf::wtf::wtf:

The Bhoot is Magical ......he has shadows,looks and feels like a human,even goes to a temple :wtf::wtf::wtf::wtf::S :S and what not(And what kind of stories do we hear about Bhoots)

When the real SRK comes to know that his wife is pregnant he goes back and now there are two SRK's and that forms the crux of the story/climax

The music by MM Kreem(Jism,Sur,Rog),cinematography by Ravi K.Chandran(Yuva,DCH,MHN,etc.) and locations of Rajasthan(where else)are excellent. :hap2: :hap2: :hap2:

Bottomline:U can like the movie for its hatke story or u may hate the movie for its weird story(yes the story is both hatke and since weird)

IMO:If u look for a differnt look of SRK/like him in different roles like his prev 1 in Swades u can like him....Nothing new about his acting frankly
Anupam Kher,Juhi Chawla are good JC is even better than RM is some of the scenes.Suneil Shetty doesnt get even 2 mins of Screentime :no: :no: :no:

Anyway, the problem is that when SRK makes off beat movies, critics slam im saying that he is not cut out for such roles and that he should stick with doing Chocolate boy lover roles.

When he does a lot of that, they say that he does not anything else....

But this has changed a bit since Swades. and abt the story --- all hindi movies have wierd stories. To those who saw Bunty Aur Babli ---- One moment they steal a Porsche. NExt moment, they are travelling in a lorry.(What happened to the Porsche??). then they are back in the Porsche!!!(Did it drive itself following them ???).

Most hindi movies and serials are like this.

English movies also to a certain extent....

are they making fool of us? such a pathetic realistic approach to bhoots, when only very few ppl believ in bhoots :O
 
However bad (or perhaps even good) the film may be i am gonna watch it for Ravi K chandran's cinematography :cool2:

Only those Ppl who've roamed cloaked in the woods, only those ppl who blink their eyes once every century, will understand her language :D
On the film front, almost all Hindi films are useless, they either redefine the heights of stupidity with every new film or try a sad attempt at cpoying a better one(English) and screw up big time...

it sure is .......but the love part is a bit believeable since SRK leaves his wife on the very next day of marriage..............a woman would look for love from her husband not him going away to earn money and come after 5 years :S:S:S:S:Swith lots of money

Its not like that dude we have movies like Lagaan,Dil Chahta Hai,Swades,Lakshya,Deewar,many of RGV's movies,Sholay,DDLj,Mother India,KKHH,Kal Ho Na Ho,Satyajit Ray's Movies,Some also from the genius of Shyam Benegal and Buddhabeb Dasgupta,etc,etc..........well these break the word that u say........ur statement is a bit demeaning frankly:no::no::no:

@ Freekill ---- you are forgetting the first movies of Matyajit Ray like Appu, Aparijito and one more(I forget the name). It was a trilogy.....

All three movies were voted in the 5 best INDIAN movies of all time by TIME magazine....

Though it is true that we have our share of crappy movies(think of a certain Mallika Sherawat), even quite a few English movies are crappy
