Victorious. Jubilant etc isn't it.

Compare with 2019. There it was a mixed bag.

So why is it different this time?

For a start our capabilities are better than they were back allowing to hit deeper, more precisely and at lower risk.

Also the government has been proactive with blocking disinformation accounts. Notice how the opposition isn't as vocal as it was last ime because they could use all the anti India stuff against us.

Twitter was off in all of Pakistan until India struck and then surprise of surprises is opened for everyone so they can push the Pak narrative.

We can't do anything about tiktok since we aren't on it. But that's not a bad thing because it prevents foreign disinformation efforts aimed at destabilising society here.

Israel's position is worse. The government there sees no point in funding hasbara efforts as they don't get the desired traction. So it falls upon either citizens or private sector to push the governments line.

What really maters isn't what foreign media says. What matters is how foreign governments understand it and here efforts are being made to clarify our position to those governments. eg. our ambassadors.

What I find odd with some Indians is they see the '65 war as a draw or stalemate.

The way to look at it is as a victory as India succeeded in it's objectives. And obviously not the Paks.

We have lost 4 in total. Bathinda(Rafale), Pampore(Mirage 2000), Ramban(SU-30MKI), Akhnoor(Mig-29) is where they were downed. There is video evidence at each sites. Too many news channels carried this story till 7-8am on 7th May and misidentifed all 4 crash sites as Pakistani jets(which were obv indian jets) and then suddenly all were asked to kept quiet. Too many local people have recorded the videos. Had they been Pakistani jets we would have paraded the wreckage. But news channels were threatened to bury the story and Hindu and Indian express had to literally delete their story. Many journalists deleted their tweet(including RW journalists like Shiv Aroor, Aditya Raj Kaul) which referred those jets.

1. This video is still up about Bathinda crash site. Locals literally recorded video of engine which matches with M-88 the engine of Rafale. 9people were injured and 1 person died on this site.

   This is a 9mins news report for Akhnoor where at 3:20 you can hear people telling reporter how 2 pilots ejected safely and admitted to military hospital. It exactly matches with coordinates showed by Pakistan where they claimed they downed a Mig-29.

   This is 19min video of Pampore crash site. Engine matches(came be seen at 16:39) closest to Mirage 2000(which Pak is claiming as a Rafale). This has been recorded by Kashmiri locals who were helping firefighters as jet was shot down and debris fell besides a school in Wayun Pampore. There are many other videos for this wreckage site as well. Co-ordinates matches exactly with what Pakistan claimed as Rafale hit.

We can live in as much delusion as we want. But taking right lessons from the dogfights is absolutely necessary than burying the truth and threatening people who cover the story. Throughout 90hours of fighting between Ind-Pak not a single plane crosses borders as in modern warfare dogfights are Beyond visual range(BVR). Both have fire and forget kind of missiles with range of 150+km. They were reportedly shot by PL-15 which has a range of 250+km and outranges Rafale's Meteor missile. All crash sites deep inside indian territory(40-80km) any physics equations suggest an aircraft will crash within 25km of being shot. Plus had any of this crash site being j-17 or f-16 we would have made a great spectacle of debris.
