well if its a new board...i guess it must work on your hard drive(since most device drive is already install)but if by any chance it doesnt...then try reinstalling...and best of luk dude...do let us know......ill calling my service centre tomm
 
Today has been the height of idiotic n stupidness and sh****** at Digicom!!
Those a**h**** shld be hanged n shot dead....

After the drama of the previous days...today i was called to take the replacement board from Digicom...but as luck would have it that damm board was faulty too!!! And also that replacement board wasnt a new board but it was a "buffer board" and it seemed old...
Now they are sayin they dont have the K8V boards!!! and their policy doesnt permit them to give me a new board!! I was totally shocked by the apathy of their services...i was left speechless....
The best they could offer me was a credit note....which also will take a week...apparently the bombay office is just for show n all decision making supposedly happens only in bangalore...

These Digicom ppl are full of s**t and a bunch of lazy idiots....

I am thinking of gettin that credit note and buying a new K8N....maybe i'll have to pay some money....but atleast i'll get rid of these Digicom b*******

Any advice ppl??

but seriously man.. if possible you should write abt this pathetic service center to the higher authorities..

maybe.. just maybe they`ll improve!!!

hmm so i guess i`ll have to go to lamington road myself one day..

you know one of my friend`s took the fan from his dead 9800pro and used it as a chipset fan for the a8nsli mobo!
 
Which board hsld i go for K8N or the K8N -E Delux? i nee atleast 4 sata ports??

Any other options from MSI n Gigabyte?
 
@Wraith - talk to the Consumer Guidance people - I understand they are very helpfull and will get your work done. I read in the newspapers often of how they have helped people with bad deals even with large organisations. I dont know where they are but vaguely remember someone saying they are near VT station behind the Times of India building. Get their phone number from directory enquiries. I understand from a Lawyer friend that very often even telling organisations that you are going to the Consumer Guidance is enough to get the ball rolling.
 
Hmmmm....i did contact the consumer guidance society....but the thing is have my final mbbs exams in a months time....so i really dont have time to go places!! not even lamington rd!!
Thats y i am settling for this middle path....
